Reducing the risk of illness in cold weather
Reducing the risk of illness in cold weather
Due to reduced microcirculation in the lower limbs of wheelchair users, they experience more frequent and significantly faster cooling and associated illnesses. Hotboots provide warmth that heats the body even in severe frosts.

Actively supplied heat ensures maximum comfort for your lower limbs. With Hotboots, you can spend the winter outdoors.

We are two lifelong friends united by a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. We also used to play football together, and that’s where the original idea was born — to warm up the feet of football players on the bench. After the initial media coverage, however, we started to be contacted by wheelchair users and families who had been looking for exactly this solution on the market for a long time. In vain.

We heard countless stories about swapping wool blankets, wearing double socks, and trying other alternatives. But none of these could properly warm poorly blood-circulated legs, as they don’t generate much heat on their own. The challenge of helping to solve this essential problem for people who rely on wheelchairs for mobility did not leave us cold, and we restarted development under the guidance of the Technical University of Liberec.

And that’s how the HotbootsCare bag was created, ideally designed for use in a wheelchair. The heating bag solves the problem of staying outdoors in cold weather and significantly extends that time. Now you can spend time with your family, friends, or even by yourself outside, without worrying about the weather!
