Hotboots Care
Instructions for Use
A technologically unique heated bag designed for use during the coldest months. A high-performance power bank maintains the proper temperature inside the bag. Developed, manufactured, and tested in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Technical University of Liberec, a leader in the field of nanotechnology.
How do Hotboots work?
A 20W power bank powers graphene plates that generate comfortable warmth inside the bag. The unique composition of the bag, incorporating advanced nanotechnology, ensures temperature stability, waterproofing, and effective moisture wicking.

Inserting the Pad
Insert the pad from the top onto the bottom of the heating bag, with the ribbed side facing up (the sensorimotor layer). Press the pad into both rear corners using two fingers. Proper placement of the pad is essential for maximum bottom insulation.
Connecting the Power Bank
There is a pocket on the rear exterior part of the bag where you insert the power bank. At the top, connect the integrated connector to the USB-C2 port, which automatically activates the power bank. The side button lights up and cycles through all three colors, indicating proper connection.
Turning On
Press and hold the button on the side of the bag for about 3 seconds to turn it on. The button will turn red, indicating immediate heating at the highest temperature. By briefly pressing the button again, you can switch between three heating levels: red (high), blue (medium), and green (low).
Tip: For optimal thermal comfort, turn on Hotboots indoors for 4–5 minutes before going outside into the cold environment.
Putting On
Place the bag on the wheelchair footrest, unzip the front zipper, and insert both feet into the bag. Hotboots can be used with any footwear or even barefoot. Then close the zipper from bottom to top and fasten the Velcro strap at the top of the bag (connecting the front and back parts) between your legs.
Next, fold over the outer flap with the logo and attach it with Velcro to the rear outer part. The bag is now fully ready and will immediately start accumulating heat. If needed, Hotboots can be secured to the wheelchair frame using fastening straps with Velcro for a perfect fit.
Tip: In extremely cold weather, you can tighten the integrated drawstring to reduce the inner space of the bag, bringing the heating system closer to your legs. This significantly enhances thermal comfort.
Attaching the Top Cover
In colder weather, you can attach the extension cover. Fasten it all around the top of the bag using Velcro (the front side has a vertical zipper and front pockets). Then place Hotboots on the wheelchair footrest, unzip the front zipper, and spread the open top cover over the chair. This creates an open setup that you can easily sit into. Then simply close the front zippers on both the Hotboots and the cover. Attach the outer flap with the logo to the cover using Velcro. The upper part of the cover is adjustable and can be tightened around the torso to prevent slipping.
Turning Off
Press and hold the button to turn off. After the heating cycle ends, disconnect the power bank from the connector inside the pocket.
After switching off, the power bank will enter sleep mode, and it can no longer be turned on using the external square button. To reactivate it, press the small round button located below the charge indicator. The power bank will then initialize, the switch button will flash through all colors, and you can turn it back on again.
Charge the power bank using the included cable via the lower input port (in/USB-C1). For technical specifications, see the back of the power bank.
Maintenance
Larger dirt particles are caught by the pad. For regular maintenance, carefully remove the entire thermal insulation pad, shake out any dirt, or rinse (shower) and let it dry. Once dry and clean, reinsert the pad into the bag, making it ready for use again.
Everyday dirt can be cleaned by wiping the bag with a damp cloth. The entire bag (without the power bank) can be machine washed at a maximum of 30°C. However, we recommend this no more than 1–2 times per season. For detailed information, refer to the label inside the bag.
Tip: For best maintenance results, leave the bag open and hung up to air dry.
